Houston, Edmonton and LA Galaxy II Travel Farther Than League Rivals

Written by Ian Thomson

The Soccer Observer has compiled estimates of the total distances to be traveled this year by teams in North America’s three professional soccer leagues.

All distances are calculated between cities as the crow flies using the www.dateandtime.info website. Actual mileage will vary depending on air and road routes.

It is assumed that teams will not return home when faced with lengthy travel itineraries between weekend and midweek games. The calculations are based on regular-season games only.
